About the research

About the research

young people

Several regions in Wales have been offering the Strengthening Families Programme as part of a research trial. Research into the programme is taking place in Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Wrexham, Flintshire and Rhondda Cynon Taf, though most of these areas are no longer running SFP for the time being. At the moment the programme is still available in Wrexham, Swansea, Carmarthenshire and Cardiff.
Programmes tend to take place in schools or other community venues.
